Низ Македонија поминаа многу американски дипломати кои потоа станаа имиња во светската дипломатија ... меѓу нив е секако и Филип Рикер ... во МК беше задолжен за односи со јавноста на американската амбасада во Скопје од 1997 до 1999 година. Тој му беше личен портпарол на амбасадорот Кристофер Хил и беше портпарол во преговорите во Рамбује за идниот статус на Косово.
Филип Рикер во периодот 2000-2003 година беше заменик-портпарол на Стејт департментот, а ја вршеше и функцијата заменик-американски амбасадор во Будимпешта. Моментно Филип Рикер е шеф на Бирото за односи со јавноста при американската амбасада во Ирак.

Philip T. Reeker arrived in Baghdad June 7, 2007 to serve as the Counselor to the Ambassador for Public Affairs. Before coming to Baghdad, he was the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Budapest, Hungary from 2004 to 2007.
Mr. Reeker served as Deputy Spokesman and Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Public Affairs from 2000-2003. A career foreign service officer, he traveled domestically and internationally as the "Spokesman at Large" for the State Department, giving talks and interviews on U.S. Foreign Policy and diplomacy from 2003-2004.
Mr. Reeker previously served as Director of Press Relations at the State Department from 1999 to 2000; Assistant Information Officer in Budapest, Hungary from 1993 to 1996; and as the Public Affairs Officer in Skopje, Macedonia from 1997 to 1999. He was spokesman for Ambassador Christopher R. Hill and for the Rambouillet Process (Kosovo peace talks).
Born in Pennsylvania, Mr. Reeker grew up in several parts of the United States, and in Australia. He received a BA from Yale in 1986, and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of International Management in 1991. He is married to Solveig Reeker, who also works at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, in the office of the Coordinator for Economic Transition in Iraq.
